Dovenose

Welding, cutting and fab work required. Bumpers, sliders, not simple bolt ons.

both sides and hood pretty much complete. I did some more aligning of the fenders to so they would sit flush with the hood.

mock up of bumper. Still have to build the frame supports for it and I'm gonna make the tubing run though the fenders and tie into the sliders. Also going to try to have a cross support go from left to right fender though the engine bay.

After 2 long days here's wats left:
Finish bumper
Install headlights
Relocate battery to cab
Hook everything back up to the motor.
Fix some of the minor body damage
prime and paint

Nice work. I like how you connect right after the hood vents.

Well I got some more work done. I put everything back on the motor and got it running. Its a pretty tight fit for everything on the driver's side due to the washer fluid, charcoal canister and air filter. I relocated the battery to inside the cab behind the passenger seat. I have all the tubing tacked in place just need to weld it all up and then paint it. I measured and I cut 8 1/2" out of each side makeing the front end a total of 17" narrower. I'm pretty happy with the way it has turned out so far. I can't wait to take it on a test drive

Can we get some better pictures of it with light on it? The ones you took in the garage are a bit dark.

Do you plan on making it street legal? If so, what are your plans?

I want you to do mine! :sawzall

Yeah I will take better pictures of it tomoro morning. It will be street legal. All I have to do is install the head lights, have high and low beams and blinkers and it should pass. I can't wait to c wat its gonna look like after the sas. I really only have to order creeper joints, DOM, springs, shocks, and some steering components and i'll be ready to do start the swap. I need to strip down the axle and bring it to barry's so we can do the cut and turn :sawzall
