NEW from Florida

Postby pfingstenkyle » Mon Jul 26, 2010 9:36 pm

I'm new to the forum and am just beginning to modify my 1997 Nissan HB 2wd. So far I have a torsion crank, 20% tint all around, and a bedlined low profile toolbox. I just bought HELO Black Maxx Wheels and am waiting to mount some new tires on them. Then comes the fun with a Fabtech 3.5" lift but have no clue wat to do for the back

:welcome

Thats how I got into wheeling. Lifted my first 3 2wd Nissans. You could do shackles and add aleafs for bolt on options. But a SOA will get you about 3.5". The axle tube is 3".

Move the springs from under to over. You need to flip the leaf spring centering pin. Weld on some new perchs on the top of the tube. May have to relocate the shock mounts since they use the plates.

Or you could just bolt in a SOA axle like a h233 from a d21. You should have the smaller h190. Those only came in SUA applications since the 60s.
